Bishops And Mullahs
By F.F.
They speak with fork tongues
They feed off the poor
To them we are just crumbs.
The streets are so lonely
with death and disease
We all live in fear of the
Taliban's sneeze.
So why won't that soldier
Put down the gun
Pick up a flower
And follow the sun.
Blairite or Shite
We are all the same
All children of God.
but religion is a game,
to keep us from warring
and believing in false creed.
While that fat man is gorging
When so many in need.
Old Georgie Bush,
he was born to lie.
And his dad he said
that man Saddam must die.
Cos we are all cowboys
and we want that oil,
we don't care if there
is blood on that soil.
So why won't that soldier
Put down the gun
Pick up a flower
And follow the sun.

Why, why, why
Oh life, do you
Give pain and stress
Where is peace
And Jou
Why why why
Oh life

When I question what is new,
as some often do,
this little voice said to me:
that when our hopes and dreams have gone,
there's nothing new that can come along,
for the human race has gone.
Perhaps we'll have to wait
a trillion billion years or four
to hear that question asked once more.
Or, perhaps it has been asked
for the last time often before.
But what I prefer to think
is that somehow
all the past is lined
and the future will go on
and lead us to the sacred One:
or is it as an atheist may say:
there's just nothing leading us
to some final day
culminating in some way.
Personally, I'd rather not dwell
on such a futile thought
but cling to something possibly true
like the pleasant sky,
presently blue for me,
but may currently not be for you.
Family

Not all the wine
in the vineyards
Not all the fish
in the sea
Not all the
tea in China
Is as much, as a
mother feels
For her
Children.
A Lonely Place
By S.F
A lonely place is a double bed, alone,
The lonely times, spent from dusk till dawn.
A lonely place is a double bed, alone
Stretching out to find someone to have and to hold,
The turning around to find a pillow that's cold.
A lonely place is a double bed, alone.
The lonely hours spent from dusk till dawn
A lonely place, my only place, bed-sit blues,
With one pair of shoes,
Making it through life with nothing to lose.
A lonely place without her face
travelling through life, with half a case.
Will I ever find someone to take her place?
A lonely place without her face,
No feelings inside just an empty space.

No mountain is too high nor
valley too deep.
Ascend, descend, muse with a
trend but come back from
each bend.
Follow me closely, to the
path, I keep
Just keep an eye on the soles
of my feet.
All kinds of dirt will get
on each shoe but I'm still
wearing mine as if they
were new.
Join me for a while, share
with me what I do,
wisely, then, you can watch
as I go out of view.
You are brilliant
By Linnie
The lake flows into the river
The river flows into the sea
The sea makes the ocean
And God made you and me
We are parts of each other
Together we must unite
We must not fuss or fight
Or even be unkind
Be yourself, free your mind
Be cuaght up, tangled up
In the name of Jesus
Yes you are brilliant
So brilliant that you sing
So brilliant in everything
You have a brilliant mind
And have a brilliant voice.
You're so brilliant
You bring out sun out
And in this brilliant world
Be sure to be happy too.
